Takuya is a versatile playwright, theatre director, film director. Takuya’s journey began at the age of 17 where he wrote radio and TV programmes. He was the youngest playwright/director to stage Tick at Mitsukoshi Theater at just 23. This production was also presented at Theatre Tram, where he won the Excellence Award at the Young Director Contest 2017. In 2018, his first TV drama script for Fuji Television’s The Stories of Heisei was nominated for the 7th Shinichi Ichikawa Script Award. He wrote his first drama series Do I Have to Enjoy Club Activities at School? for Nippon Television. In 2022 he directed his first feature film Grown-ups.
Watako has just lost her lover, Kimura, in a traffic accident in Tokyo. She decides to bury the trauma of this tragedy and carries on with her life with her husband. Although she puts on a facade for a while, the loss of Kimura has left deep marks, and she can't escape his memory any longer. She must now confront her grief.
