Theatre director, film director, opera director, author and teacher of acting. He graduated with honours in theatre studies from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla. He has directed, translated or adapted over 30 productions by major Mexican and international authors. Winner of many awards, he has consolidated himself as one of the most recognised contemporary theatre directors in Mexico. All the Silence is his first feature film.
Miriam, an actress who is also a sign language teacher, but is not deaf herself. A downward spiral begins when she learns that she will indeed become fully deaf. Despite having deaf parents, deaf friends and a deaf girlfriend she refuses to accept a world without sound, and starts to tear down every person and aspect in her life.
