Synopsis:

Set in rural Nepal, the film explores the profound impact of a newly constructed road on the lives of a local family. As Maila, a traditional basket weaver, grapples with the cultural and technological upheavals brought by the road, his son Bindray's aspirations for modernity add complexity. The narrative unfolds with Maila's struggle for financial stability in a changing landscape, juxtaposing the allure of progress with the ghosts of the past, creating a deeply humane portrayal of the collision between tradition and modernity.
