Director’s Biography:

Viplav Subhash Shinde has worked as an assistant with Mira Nair and Subhash Ghai in the past. His short film Ek Lift Story has won awards at several Film Festivals including the 42nd Asian American FF and The Cutting Room IFF in New York and at the CKF IFF of England.

Synopsis:

An overview of the Gond kingdom of Chandagarh (Today’s Chandrapur). Their rule, rulers and the remarkable infrastructure they built and why the Gond Kingdom needs a more prominent place in the study of Indian history.
